We took Trey miniature golfing for the first time and I laughed until my stomach hurt. He loved it but couldn't get the concept of only hitting the ball with the club. He kept trying up pick up his ball and move it. Dale is convinced it's his job as a father to teach Trey to properly hold the club and hit the ball. I finally had to initiate a "1 time helping" rule for each hole or we never would've made it out of there. We only had to let one couple go ahead of us because we were slow. That's what happens when it takes your 2 year old over 57 puts to make the ball in the hole :).
